Ebay Tips
Wireless Mouse dot biz - Ebay Tips
Besides working on the retail shop floor at a certain computer retailer we've bought and sold many different products from Ebay over the years and not just computer products. So if you've never had the chance to buy via Ebay here are a few helpful tips based on hundreds of transactions done over the years.
Ebay Seller feedback -Ever Ebay seller has a number near their name (userid) which is the number of transactions they have done. When looking at those number watch for the positive feed number. Some simple tips in regard to those number would be to never buy from someone who has only a few transactions and even if they have a few if their positive feedback is below 95% you should avoid them no matter how good the price is on that wireless mouse you want. Also look for the people listed as Power Sellers because that means they sell tons of product on Ebay and they likely are treating their Ebay sales has a business.
Shipping and/or Broker charges - Watch this one little item because if can make that great deal and expensive mistake. Some folks on Ebay treat shipping charges as another chance to make a few bucks while others will only charge you pretty much what it costs them to ship and package something up. Also look out for any duty or import charges on overseas auctions.
Bid late - If you have never bought from Ebay before you might get caught up in the auction action. Avoid it> There are plenty of wireless mouse auctions on Ebay so just bid once or twice and "walk away" from your computer right before the auction is scheduled to end so you avoid over paying.
Best offer auctions - watch out for "Best Offer" Ebay listing because you could score a great deal. In these auction the seller usually has set a fixed price but they are open lower offers. No harm in asking and sometimes you might find a great deal. Again watch out for shipping charges in this situation.
